New Mexico is home to 22 different Native American communities, each with their own language, customs, and traditions. The Spanish history of New Mexico has left an indelible mark on the state which can be found in the food, traditions, and small towns with their hand chiseled churches.

The geographic terrain of New Mexico varies from aspen and snow-covered mountains as high as 13,000 feet to rolling cacti strewn deserts. High altitude and dry air combine to create a quality of light that is captivating and magical. This light inspired artists Georgia O’Keefe and photographer Ansel Adams and countless other painters and photographers.
